The introduction of water repellents dramatically reduces the amount of checking,
cracking, and warping over the months and years. While spray-on repellents break down after six months or so, our
water repellent treated wood looks good for years without any additional treatments. All of our ACC(Acid Copper Chromate)
treated products contain high levels of Water Repellents.

When wet, Treated Lumber without a Water Repellent additive can swell as much as six times as much as Treated
Lumber with a Water Repellent additive.
